- Keep an empty stomach : fast for at least 8 hours for gastroscopy and blood glucose tests
- Control your exercise : don’t exercise too much the day before the test X (it affects muscle enzyme levels)
- Check your medication : blood pressure medication, diabetes medication, etc. should be taken after consulting your doctor.

- don’t eat after 8pm > weight management + blood sugar control
- walk 30 minutes a day + strength training 3 times a week > prevent muscle loss
- drink 2 litres of water a day + reduce salt > maintain healthy blood pressure and blood vessels
