Taste and features of Sinpo Dakgangjeong
- Uses fresh domestic chicken
The restaurant uses fresh domestic chicken every morning and uses it up the same day.
Thanks to the fresh ingredients, the chicken kangjeong has a clean taste without any off-flavours
- Special Seasoning Sauce
We use a special sauce that balances sweetness and spiciness. It contains cheongyang chilli, which gives it a sweet first taste followed by a subtle spicy taste that lingers on the palate. It is characterised by a taste that can be easily enjoyed by people of all ages
- Savoury peanut topping
The savoury peanut topping complements the sweetness of the chicken kangjeong and adds to the chewing fun.
3. Sinpo Dakgangjeong Honest Review
I ordered the medium chicken gangjeong with a zero drink.
It was the perfect amount for two people, and as someone who doesn’t like spicy food, it was a must have with a salad or a fizzy drink.
The chilli is served seperately, so if you don’t like spicy, avoid it. Only boneless chicken is served, with no bonless should take note. Plastic gloves are available upon request to provent messy hands.
Personally, I think Sinpo Dakgangjeong is one of the best in the city - the spicy sauce is addictive, and the flavour doesn’t change over time. If you’re planning to visit Incheon, I highly recommended giving this place a try.
Storage tips and how to re-cook when packing

• Recooking Tip : Reheat in an air fryer at around 180 degrees for 5-7 minutes to bring back the crispy texture. Be careful when using the microwave as they may become mushy.
